Odoo Asia-Pacific Office

Two members of our core team, Jackie and Linus, worked together in Odoo’s functional and project management team in Hong Kong.

UAE-Hong Kong Business Forum

During the delegation visit to the UAE in February 2023, Linus was invited to the business forum in Dubai attended by the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, The Honourable John KC Lee. During their conversation, they exchanged their views on the UAE’s national rail network, Etihad Rail, where Linus was engaged at.

Rail Freight Digital Transformation

Linus supported the Etihad Rail Freight team in resolving an operational crisis through the effective use of Odoo. Recognizing his contributions, the Freight CEO invited him in June 2023 to join the team and take charge of managing Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT).

Public Services in GCC Region

In May 2025, our team supported the Hong Kong–Mainland China delegation to Qatar and Kuwait, again led by the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, The Honourable John KC Lee. The caption features Mr. Kenneth Fok Kai-kong, JP, alongside one of our core team members.

In-Person System Training in Malaysia

Linus visited a customer in Kuala Lumpur and delivered training on the Odoo system deployed.

Onsite System Hyper-Care in Australia

Linus provides periodic onsite hyper-care and system enhancements for Decrolux users. The system, originally deployed in 2018 by Jackie and Linus, has played a significant role in supporting the company’s growth within the industry.

Working with Linus was a pleasure. Linus was always available to assist, and without his ability in IT, I would have struggled to deliver the volumes required in my terminals. His ability to identify and plug gaps in IT systems, as well as doing system integration was invaluable in the early days of operation, and his ability to evolve the systems to meet demand was also invaluable.

I have worked for Linus over the last 8 months, however his skill, intellect and business experience was very clear very early on in our working relationship and is often the case it came to the fore in a crisis situation.

Unfortunately the late delivery of an IT system had meant that we were relying on very manual processes which were time consuming and prone to data inaccuracy. These issues created a capacity restriction on how much business we could do and there was a desire from the whole team to increase the business being conducted.

Recognising the problems and risks Linus developed an Odoo based interim terminal system. The system has been running now for 6 months it has resolved many of the administration risks associated with manual processes by streamlining the management processes. It provides real time reporting and visibility to our customers and allows us to ramp volumes up to the required budget levels.

Linus achieved this not only with a strong IT background but was able to apply significant business experience to provide a solid reliable solution.

Linus has developed a solution in Odoo system within extremely short period of time (couple of days), to enhance the truck movement in and out of a rail terminal.
